A couple kisses after eloping outdoors

Elopement Experience & Pricing

Elopement Experience & Pricing

So, you know you don't want the stress of a big, traditional wedding... and you're realizing there are infinite ways to elope. If you want your wedding to be close to nature, meaningful, elegant, and relaxed, you're in the right place.

Together, we will plan a day that's everything you want and nothing that you don't.

Welcome, I'm Steph!

I'm a nerdy homebody with an adventurous streak and a love of art. At any given moment you will find a book, a camera, or a ball of yarn in my hands. I believe Black lives matter, love is love, and everyone deserves bodily autonomy. All humans are welcome in front of my lens.

When I was planning my own wedding in 2021, I was stressed out of my mind. The mile-long to-do list, the family dynamics, the pressure to make it a perfect day... Eventually, we scrapped it all and decided to elope outdoors in the Southwest with just our immediate family present. It was heartfelt, laid back, beautiful, full of laughter and love and great food. I don't regret a single thing.

The photographs from that day are now my most prized possessions. When I look at them, I am transported back to a moment in time when I felt so loved and so free. And let me tell you, that is priceless. This is what I want to give to you!

"Where do I even begin! Stephanie is such a beautiful soul with epic photography skills.

From the moment we discussed my vision to me receiving the edited gallery, it was a thoroughly wonderful experience. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her, and know that if you were to choose her to capture your epic moments, she is going to OVER-DELIVER!"

custom location suggestions

No matter where you want to go, I will do research and location scouting to find just the right spot for your wedding. If you're leaning toward Death Valley, I am lucky enough to live, work, and play in the national park. My knowledge of the park is extensive, so I can pair you with a location that checks all the boxes. Whether you want hiking or no hiking, sunrise or star-gazing, peaks or canyons, or maybe all of the above... I know the spot. And if you're looking to elope somewhere else, I have plenty of experience researching and photographing in other beautiful locations around the country.

Permit research

National parks, state parks, and even city parks usually require some kind of permit for a wedding ceremony. Even within each system the rules and costs will vary from park to park. I help you determine whether or not you need a permit, what the cost will be, and how to apply.

Custom Activity suggestions

Your love is unique, and your wedding day should reflect that beautiful fact. What brings one couple joy might sound like a nightmare to you. When you book with me, I'll send you a questionnaire that will help me learn more about you and help me make suggestions tailored to your preferences.

VENDOR RECOMMENDATIONS

FAQ

Are you an inclusive business?

Yes. I believe everyone deserves beautiful images of themselves. Full stop. I welcome all races, genders, sexual orientations, ability levels, ages, body sizes, religions, and nationalities. Love is love is love.

I don't like to hike. Is this for me?

YES! Hiking is not required. In fact, the most popular and stunning locations in Death Valley require little to no hiking at all. If you want to dial up the adventure without a strenuous hike, you could also consider other unique modes of transportation like a helicopter, a Jeep, a kayak, a sea plane, a horse... the options are truly endless.

Can we have guests at our elopement?

Of course! I photograph elopements and intimate weddings with less than 30 guests. Guests are definitely welcome if YOU want them there. And the level of guest involvement is up to you, too. Maybe your guests are with you the entire day, maybe you opt for a private ceremony and just have guests at an intimate dinner afterward, maybe you don't have any guests and instead ask loved ones to handwrite you letters that you read together.

Will you travel internationally?

Yes! When you submit your inquiry form include your desired international destination to get a custom rate (and know I'm jumping up and down with excitement).

Can I buy prints of my photographs?

Absolutely. Once you receive your digital gallery you can order prints and wall art directly to your home. They are made by a professional print lab that uses quality, archival materials to ensure your photos withstand the test of time. The color and clarity of professionally printed photos is so worth it.

Can you photoshop my body?

I provide light re-touching for temporary conditions like acne, but I will not change inherent features of anyone's body in post-production.

Do you take any precautions against COVID-19?

I am fully vaccinated (and boosted). I will work with clients to reschedule a shoot if they feel any symptoms of COVID-19 or receive positive test results. I will comply with all mask requirements and I am happy to wear a mask any time upon client's request.
