I'm a nerdy homebody with an adventurous streak and a love of art. At any given moment you will find a book, a camera, or a ball of yarn in my hands. I believe Black lives matter, love is love, and everyone deserves bodily autonomy. All humans are welcome in front of my lens.
Nothing lights my soul on fire like making photography magic with couples in Death Valley. I know it can be overwhelming to look at the largest park in the lower 48 and wonder where and when to go for the best photos. But that's where I come in!

Permit research
National parks, state parks, and even city parks can require a permit for photography. Even within each system the rules and costs will vary from park to park. I help you determine whether or not you need a permit for Death Valley NP, what the cost will be, and how to apply.

If you want to photograph at more than one location, I'll send you a timeline to get the most out of your session, and to make sure we take advantage of the best lighting opportunities for photographs. Time of year and location have big impacts on lighting. I've got you covered!

FAQ
Are you an inclusive business?
Yes. I believe everyone deserves beautiful images of themselves. Full stop. I welcome all races, genders, sexual orientations, ability levels, ages, body sizes, religions, and nationalities. Love is love is love.
I don't like to hike. Is this for me?
YES! Hiking is not required. In fact, many of the most popular and stunning locations in Death Valley require little to no hiking at all.
Can I buy prints of my photographs?
Absolutely. Once you receive your digital gallery you can order prints and wall art directly to your home. They are made by a professional print lab that uses quality, archival materials to ensure your photos withstand the test of time. The color and clarity of professionally printed photos is so worth it.
Can you photoshop my body?
I provide light re-touching for temporary conditions like acne, but I will not change inherent features of anyone's body in post-production.
Do you take any precautions against COVID-19?
I am fully vaccinated (and boosted). I will work with clients to reschedule a shoot if they feel any symptoms of COVID-19 or receive positive test results. I will comply with all mask requirements and I am happy to wear a mask any time upon client's request.
